Need Some Help?

How do I resize my layout for upload?

It's important to make sure that your layout is sized correctly for optimum viewing quality. Your file must be between 700 and 1000 pixels, RGB colour space, saved as a jpg. Depeneding on the program you use this method can be achieved in different ways
.

Adobe Photoshop

  1. If you haven't already done so, save an original copy of your layout as a layered .psd file whever you save your finished layouts.
  2. Flatten your layout {Layer > Flatten Image}
  3. {Image > Image Size} When the dialogue box appears as below the first thing you will need to change is the pixels/inch. THis will have to be set to 72. THen change your width & height to be between 700 and 1000 pixels as shown below. Some default setting will show your document size in inchs instead of pixels so ensure you select "pixels" from the drop down menu. Click {ok}
  4. {File > Save As} To save you layout as a jpg. A quality of 10 will be perfect for your files.
  5. TIP: make a new folder on your desktop labelled "Scrapbook Awards" and save all of your uploaded images to it. This will make it easier to locate them from this site to upload.
