About Us

Founders Clayton and Erika have been involved in the creative industries for years. Clayton's family business is a printing company specializing in scrapbook and wedding photography printing and Erika is a graphic designer. Inspired by a rise in requests for scrapbook printing Clayton and Erika began researching the market and soon found the hobby is bigger than golf! The quality of online resources varied massively and they wanted to find a really good pool of inspiration for scrapbooking. These thoughts soon led onto the idea that the best scrapbookers really should be recognized and rewarded for their talents as it really is a growing artistic medium. This is how The Scrapbooking Awards were born.

The awards aim to recognize and reward the industry and communities best creative talents. Clayton and Erika know that family and community is close to every scrapbooking heart and they wanted to create a creative and inspiring space to become the home of scrapbooking. The digital scrapbook awards are inspired by the real world heritage of digital scrapbooking, and how the medium really gives you a sense of the creators world.

Scrapbooking is an old tradition that began in the 1500's and was a way for women to capture their own histories as traditional history was the realm of men. Each scrapbook page tells a unique and personal story usually about family and anniversaries and celebrations. It's a handmade history book for a family.
